Prewritten

Some deaths are meant to happen. Some are made to happen.

Ethan Cole thought he was starting over—writing obituaries in a quiet Montana town, far from his ruined career and buried regrets.

But when names start appearing before the people die, and their ends match the words he prints, Ethan’s reality begins to fracture.

Then his own obituary arrives.

His only hope is Claire Voss, a brilliant but secretive scientist with ties to The Oracle—a machine that doesn’t just predict the future, it engineers it.

As Ethan’s paranoia deepens, he begins to wonder: is Claire here to save him… or ensure he dies on schedule?

Every step they take feels anticipated. Every decision seems… chosen.

And as the Oracle closes in, Ethan must confront the unthinkable:

Are they fighting fate—or following it?

Because in Blackwood, the future isn’t just written in advance.

It’s enforced.

And no one escapes their ending.
