Hi Reader!
I’ve got something fun for you!
MAVERICK is part of a BookBub deal and it’s FREE March 5–9!
If you’ve been waiting to dive into Maverick—or you know someone who loves strong heroes, danger, and redemption—this is the perfect time. Free doesn’t come around often, so don’t miss out!
Now for the part I know many of you are really waiting for…
🐾 Puppy Watch Update!
We had Ember’s x-rays done, and we officially have confirmation—7-9 puppies are on the way! Her expected due date is March 8–9.
Both the vet and my hubby could see the puppies, but I must admit I can only clearly see a few. If you look closely, you can make out tiny skulls and spines. There are two at the bottom of her belly - for sure. How many do you see?
Ember is sleeping constantly. Truly. If pregnancy were an Olympic sport, she’d be winning gold in napping. She looks more than ready to have these babies, and honestly? I wouldn’t be surprised if she delivers a little early.
We are in full preparation mode over here—clean bedding, whelping box ready, coffee stocked for us. It’s that quiet, anticipatory stage where you know life is about to get very loud and very adorable.
I’ll keep you posted as things progress. If you’re the praying type, we’d appreciate prayers for a smooth delivery and healthy pups.
In the meantime, go grab your free copy of Maverick and settle in—because between book deals and puppy arrivals, it’s going to be an exciting week.
Happy Reading!!

A US MARSHAL THRILLER
When a former Army Ranger Ian McCallum turned contract killer, escapes FBI custody and disappears into the remote wilderness of Montana, Deputy U.S. Marshal Dirk Sterling is sent to track him down. But this isn’t an everyday fugitive hunt—McCallum is racing toward the Canadian border to meet a contact who can make him disappear forever. If he gets out of the country, he’ll vanish along with classified military secrets that could put countless lives at risk. Dirk must stop him—but he’s not the only one hunting. Rival agencies and ruthless bounty hunters all have their own reasons for wanting McCallum, and they don’t care who gets in their way.
Back in Billings, Dirk’s fiancé, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Emory Grey uncovers a devastating truth: McCallum’s escape wasn’t pure luck. Someone inside the one of the federal agencies helped him get away. When Emory starts digging too deep, she and their adopted family becomes the next target. Dirk is forced to make an impossible choice—stay on McCallum’s trail or race back to protect his new family and the woman he loves.
